Obituary for Mother Brazil Cannon

Brazil Cannon, was born on February 8th, 1915 in Pilot Point, Texas to Arthur and Nora Mask, Sr. At a young age her family moved to the Blue Creek community in Grayson County. It was there she met her true love, Mr. Rufus Cannon. Rufus and Brazil married in 1935, and eventually made Sherman their home.
Brazil was a faithful member of Independent Springs CME Church in Sherman. She loved to cook, watch her soap operas and cheer for her Texas Rangers Baseball Team.
On Wednesday, November 14th, 2018, Brazil was called home by her Lord God. She slumbers in peace, with those who went on before: her husband, parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Her precious memories, will be left in the hearts of: her daughter Elsie Cannon, son Clifton Cannon, daughter Kathy Aumade, grandchildren; Curtis Dowell, Dana Speed, Rhonda Williams, Terrence Jackson, TaShondra Mondy, Nickolas Orr, Alua Aumade, Victoria Conner, 14 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
