Obituary for Lucy Lorraine Wimbish

Lucy Loraine Wimbish was born, June 7, 1933, in Denison, Texas, to Wilbur Hall and Myrtle Green Frazier. The Lord called Lucy home on October 17, 2019.
Lucy was a graduate of Terrell High School. She received
the greatest joy by spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and loved talking to her special friend, Thelma Swinger. Lucy was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan!
Lucy worked over 30 years for the Barrett family in Denison.
She was a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church for
many years. She later joined Mt. Vernon Baptist Church,
where she served as a faithful usher.
Lucy is survived by her children, Linda Flemming (Lester),
Ronnie Curry, Debra Hall (Rodney), Karren Curry,
Mary Louise Curry, stepson Thomas Wimbish and Godson Granville Walker, Jr.
Grandchildren, Eric Hunt (Dawn), JaQuita Williams, Tonya Curry, MeShawn Curry, Rochelle Lewis, Mia Williams, Jonathan Curry (Felicia), Shellie Pitts, Sheree Hamilton, Justin Smith and Darius Curry (Cynthia). She also leaves 30 grandchildren,
11 great-grandchildren, and nephew Romero Ellis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur L. Hall
and Myrtle Green Frazier; first husband, Shellie T. Curry and
son, Shellie J. Curry; second husband
Ernest Wimbish, Jr. and brother Wilbur Hall.
